Ladies and gentlemen. For those of you who enjoy watching movies that are so disturbingly odd that you get a sense that no matter how weird you are, you actually have a grasp on reality, take a stroll down David Lynch's lane. Twin Peaks and Lost Highway. Two movies for you to be scared without even knowing why. Why do I recommend these movies? Simple. it just so happens that sometimes we have to appreciate life even if it doesn't make any real sense. And there is no better way of giving flesh to an idea than these previous examples mentioned above. Yes my people. These movies are weird and good luck understanding half of what Lynch attempts to convey. But there is NO way you can deny that these movies will provoke some type of reaction. If you're ever tempted to say your life doesn't make any sense, watch these movies, discard your bullshit theory and bask at the drab logical and ordinary happenings which you used to proclaim as weird, postmodern or surrealistic. Yes my people, weird is as big a word as love. So use it cautiously and remember, a little weird never hurt anybody.

Add this weird one to your list, please. Keep a bag close, 'cause this one might leave you wanting to hurl: Requiem for a Dream by Darren Aronofsky. Just watch it on a Saturday or Sunday. You will thank me for it.
Ah, I remember in 89 and 90 when my boyfriend and I used to stay in every Saturday (and that's something, as we were about 20/21 years old) to watch Twin Peaks. It was AMAZING!!! David Lynch rocks! You should also check out Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive!
