Yes oh fucking yes my advertising brethren, Pearl Jam is back and coming to kick you in the jimmy. Lord I love this band with every fiber of my existence and I don’t care of people who insist that they’re past their prime etc, I call these people Back Street Boys fans. Finally, yes finally the band that turned me to rock and roll is back and they have a new single. It’s on the radio but by all means download it free from the website. Try to imagine The Who but with bigger balls, or maybe it’s just that Pearl Jam are my heroes while The Who (along with many others) were theirs. Another very worthy musical mention is David Gilmour’s new album, On an Island. Beautiful packaging, mellow tunes and geez, David Gilmour on the Guitar. 2006 looks mighty juicy and where 2005 had force in numbers of incredible albums, ’06 brings with it the already mentioned as well as projects by the members of Stone Temple Pilots and Filter, Tool and Red Hot Chili Peppers… Feel that, those are my nipples shattering the space time continuum because of what I’ll be able to listen to.
