The Extremely Dangerous WAS Challenge

We all know that we have a loyal fan base, which read our blog every day. In secret. They pull up the blog when no one is looking. I've heard many stories about people who are reading the blog and when their bosses or high management passes by they click it off or hide it.

They talk about it with other coworkers, like it's a inside joke. But we all have people who we'd love to read it but we know they'd get pissed off doing it. You know who I'm talking about. Your awful CD. Your annoying AE. Your CEO. That bullcrap creative who insists on telling everyone he or she rocks but deep inside you know is a rampant copycat.

There are many posts here which should be read by people we know. But... we don't want to send the link. That would get us in deep manure. Right? Um. Not really. There might be a way to let them know about it. Here comes the challenge. Do you have the balls to do the following?

• Leave your WAS page open when you leave for lunch.

• Type "Proud WAS reader" instead of your name on your Messenger for a day or two.

• Print out a specific post and lay it on your desk.

Or... Dare I say...

• Actually send the link via email?

Hm. Interesting. I want to know how many of you would actually do this. And if you do, by all means, write us and tell us what you did.

Do you feel lucky? Do you?

Tell you what: I'll stick your link on our intranet and see if it encourages any comment...

I've already sent it to everybody here at work. Including (ESPECIALLY) the AEs. That's why I go by Anon in my comments. Or as you call me, Ed.
