Open Letter to My AE’s

Dear laborious slavers of your craft:

Thank you for always taking the time to not include USP’s in the briefs you offer us with so many days I mean hours to work. Thank you for always showing a sense of companionship by being by our side… in spirit while you watch your soap operas, basketball games or copious amounts of QVC. Thank you for always expressing the instructions in the jobs we are given with such brief eloquence, EXTREMELY brief eloquence, two line short brief eloquence. Thanks for always trusting in your creative team’s dedication to advertising by never including reference materials that are pertinent to the job. Thanks for always sticking up for the work we produce and being so kind to always say I told you so when a client has a bullshit whim that you could easily defend; we know you need your energy. Our most sincere thanks for always taking into consideration our work load and always sending jobs with an extra day to work on… that meaning for tomorrow since we can obviously stop everything we’re doing for your sake. Thank you for always and I mean ALWAYS challenging us to do better since with briefs like the ones you offer, there’s no chance in hell we can use anything you give us as insight. Thanks for always being up to date on Facebook and Myspace so I can be the one to give you follow up on pretty much every job I have to work on. We totally understand you need to keep uploading pictures to increase your marketability if ever you decide to sell your sex. A thousand thanks for being so in touch with the people in your department that you never realize we have campaigns, revisions and ads from other accounts. It shows you care about what you’re doing and what you’re working for… in this case, your well-being and your own interests. I totally thank you for always taking time to combine your shirt with your shoes and purse or your tie with your pants and socks yet never having one bit of interest to do your fucking job in a manner that allows us in Creative to get shit done. I wish you well, no really. Super well especially if you ever choose to leave this company because that way I can wish you the best of luck and success so I never have to see you again.

With love, cherishment and complete admiration
Joker
