An ode to a sly one

When your work has gone abound
Look for answers that surround.
Delegate and instigate
So you can just procrastinate.

Wiki this and Google that
And purchase crap on Ebay stat.
For if you linger with your job,
You’re a schmuck now kneel and bob.

Take a moment to digress,
Or waste ten hours maybe less.
So here’s to thee, you rueful Sloth,
But OH! It’s Six! You must be off.

‘Tis the season to be lazy,
working hard is just plain crazy.
Write more hours than you work,
And let the minors go berserk.

Cash your checks and don’t look back,
And then your sweets you must attack.
For if you fathom the absurd,
Then well your client you will serve.

So kick on back from way up high
Your bullshit altar in the sky.
And look on down those hapless schmoes
That do your work all to and fro.

But rest assured karma will reign.
And you’ll no longer keep your feint.
So remedy now, start clean slate
With an I-less team and a balanced rate.
